David Güiza Caicedo, MSc.
My goal is to create products and services that are truly helpful and enjoyable to use! But products do not exist in a vacuum, so our solutions and services should not be designed without taking into consideration people’s behaviour, motivations, and the context they live in. We always need to dig deeper to find out what makes people tick, so that we can tickle their fancy!
I graduated with honors (Cum Laude) from my Design for Interaction MSc. (TU Delft) and learned user-centred design practices, where research, prototyping, and user testing play a key role from an early stage of the process. I also have a background in Industrial Design Engineering (TU Delft) which provides me with strong technical insights of the design discipline to keep the design grounded and feasible for the industry.
- Various types of design oriented research and context definition techniques such as cultural probes, ethnographic studies, development of personas, creative sessions, design sprints & usability tests
- Development of high quality interactive prototypes for user testing and product demos
- Creation of high quality mockups
- Experience with project and team management, direct communication with clients and working together with software developers within an Agile environment
- A keen interest for latest consumer technologies with the potential to change the way we live our daily lives
